Realized Ready Samsung Smartphone with Flexible Display of the Year - In April, Samsung officially introduced the innovation of a flexible display that called as Youm.
Well, over time, flexible AMOLED screen seem closer to the realization phase. As quoted MOst Techno World via DDaily, Samsung will reportedly begin production this quarter AMOLED screen.
Display panel is thinner than the panel noted that there is today, its size is only about 0.6 mm, in contrast to the existing panel having a thickness ranging from 1.8 mm.
For the early stages of a flexible display according to the report that will be protected by a non-flexible glass layer of flexible plastic is not required when used in flexible devices.
Samsung have touted plans to release a device with a flexible AMOLED screen ultra-thin by the end of this year. Even so, the mass production of flexible display panel is made real to begin in 2014.
Samsung steps that will produce flexible display seems to be followed by the display panel manufacturers in Taiwan who had reportedly been busy developing a screen with the same capabilities.
